Transform the format and content of inbound and outbound documents
With AGETOR you can efficiently transform both the format and the content of inbound and outbound documents.
Many solutions are dependent on the popular tool XLS when transforming the content of inbound documents from one format to another (for example, from one XML format to another XML format). This is not a requirement with AGETOR, where you can easily transform binary and textual non-XML formats via methods such as scripting.
Format conversion
AGETOR gives you two different options for converting XML when you receive documents such as EDI or CSV files for example:
- You can use a built-in filter which transforms data to a selected in-house XML format.
- You can write a script in your preferred language such as BeanShell or Groovy.
Content formatting
When a document has been converted to XML you can transform the content via standard stylesheet transformation (XSLT) and scripting. And you can use the same tools if you wish to convert outbound documents to non-XML formats. In addition, you gain automatic integration with databases and web services, etc
Manage binary data
Manage your binary data with AGETOR as well. This could, for example, be images, locked PDF files or videos. It is possible to buy a module that enables; the conversion of images, the generation of thumbnails for websites, the use of PDF Preflight and the archiving of images.
