Workbench

As a developer, you will appreciate AGETOR’s Workbench. The Workbench is your tool box when creating new integrations and managing existing ones. The Workbench will give you a clear overview of all system integrations in your company.

Create your input and output integrations
Your company undoubtedly has special requirements concerning your inbound and outbound documents: How should the documents be transformed with regard to format, layout and content, who will approve or reject them in the process, and where should the documents be archived.

These needs (and many others) are standard elements (”components”) in AGETOR, and Workbench gives you access to create your input/output integrations and workflows through these components. You can combine these elements in numerous ways in order to match the specific needs and requirements of document management in your company. 

Graphical display of integrations
Every component is stored as a graphical element in Workbench, and by using drag & drop you can easily move all elements. This way you have a graphical display of the integration you are about to extend or change during the entire process. At the same time Workbench will automatically generate the underlying XML, and it is easy to switch back and forth between the graphical display and the XML if needed.

Simple error management
If the elements are incompatible, or if you are missing an element in order to complete the integration, you will automatically be notified. You can then easily correct any potential errors and deficiencies in the integration. 

Design and generate standard documents
In Workbench you can easily design standard documents such as invoices, orders or a product catalogue. You decide which fields to extract from your accounting system and you define the graphical layout and add a logo. You can utilize the available data in different systems.

For instance, if the sales director would like an overview of which products sell most in the webshop, you can design a customized report in Workbench. AGETOR retrieves data from the systems, and the Workbench enables you to define the layout and setup. It is also possible to include business logic in the report if necessary. The report can be delivered as PDF, Excel, HTML or PowerPoint.
